
Michael “Mic” Hlywa
(MS - PT - ATC)
Mic is the manager and the senior clinician at our Baldwinsville office. A physical therapist since 1993, he has earned degrees from SUNY Health Science Center (NY), Marshall University (West Virginia), Wilmington College (Ohio), and Monroe Community College where he obtained multiple degrees including BS in Physical Therapy, MS in Health & Athletic Training, and BS in Athletic Training & Psychology. He has prior experience as the head athletic trainer at Huntington High School, as well as an athletic trainer for Marshall University.
Mic’s areas of expertise include the McKenzie method, vertigo and balance dysfunctions, orthopedic manual skills assessments, post-surgical treatment, evidence-based treatment trends, spinal pain, stress and repetitive motion Injuries, postural dysfunction, joint replacement, rotator cuff & ACL Injuries, athletic injuries, and job-related injury pathologies.
